TLC (The Log Cabin) Campground has been the place to go in Virginia for Bluegrass music since the 1970’s.

Every year, we host events such as concerts, cookouts and family activities in addition to the numerous weekend jams

Come for the day, or stay the weekend with us. Build a campfire at your site, relax and enjoy the outdoors while listening to some of the best bluegrass musicians in the area. Or bring your instrument and join in!

Campers and the local community are invited to our cookouts, including our Memorial Weekend Pig Roast, Independence Day cookout, and Oktoberfest feast. Our Halloween celebration has special fun for the whole family, with a cookout, a costume contest and trick-or-treating through the campground!

There are plenty of open spaces for softball games, kite flying, rolling down a hill, or taking a quiet nap in the sun. Whether you come for the music, the great people, or the beautiful setting, you will find a home at TLC Campground.

History behind the Name: The Log Cabin Campground was opened in the early 1970s. At the time, the main house, located at the center of the campground, had been built from logs from an old log cabin. Because of the house, the campground opened as “Log Cabin Campgrounds”. Over the years, the house has been added to and changed with upkeep. The logs are still there, but they are less prominent than they once were. Because of this, and to reduce confusion since there are no log cabins for rent on the property, the current owners (the third owners of the campground) have decided to stress the initials TLC as the name of the campground. However the history is still there; in the land and the main house - The Log Cabin.
